Renowned coach, Springfield grad Marshall Cho to host youth basketball camp
THE REGISTER-GUARD – Long before he was mentoring some of the top amateur basketball players in the world, Marshall Cho fell in love with the sport growing up in Springfield. Now, the renowned Portland-based coach is looking to give back to his hometown and bolster the basketball community that sparked his passion for the game.

OREGON SCHOOL ACTIVITIES ASSOCIATION – Marshall Cho resigned as Lake Oswego's coach last week, saying he has come to a 'natural pause' in his coaching career. Cho, 46, said he wants to spend more time with his children – son Nene and daughter Emma, who are in the seventh and fourth grades, respectively. He also wants to have the flexibility to entertain other opportunities in basketball.
